FREE Blogging Course From Mark Joyner

Mark Joyner, and internet marketing legend is at it again.

He is the creator of Simpleology and if you have not signed up for the Free Simpleology online course, you should.

Well . . . he has come up with a new strategy for exposing his products. You see, he has created a new online blogging course and he wants to create buzz and get feedback . . . blog style.

So anyone who posts about his new blog study program gets a free copy for a limited time. This is a great strategy and a twist on the regular "giveaway" idea.

I'm evaluating his multi-media course on blogging . You too can snag it for free if you post about it on your blog.

It covers:

  • The best blogging techniques.
  • How to get traffic to your blog.
  • How to turn your blog into money.

I'll let you know what I think once I've had a chance to check it out. Meanwhile, go grab yours while it's still free.

Hello Everyone! Bad, bad, very bad entrepreneur!!!

I should be spanked!

I have not been keeping up with my entrepreneurial updates during 2007. There is a lot to share and I will be adding posts to summarize my journey.

The good news: I'm still in business and paying my rent with my business at home & for my office.

The bad news: I am still not fully in the black with all of my bills and I am in great need of re-evaluating my business strategy.

So back to the postings!

Stay tuned for more.

My New Life Begins NOW!!!!!

WOW.

What a month February has been!

As you know, in the last post I talked about my former fiance demanding change and boy did it happen! After the "come to Jesus" talk I set a date two weeks out for my departure. I chose Friday February 16th, 2007 which is my birthday. It seemed appropriate.

So during the two weeks between making this decision and leaving, about $4,500 came my way out of many random and totally unexpected places. The universe was clearly supporting this decision! I felt and still feel blessed. All of the assistance that came sweeping in confirmed that I was making the right choice and this was extremely reassurring.

(***Side Note: I am a firm believer of actively manifesting and creating which is a topic that has been thrust into the lime light because of "The Secret" and its debut on Oprah.)

But one thing that isn't emphasized as much as it should be in The Secret", is the role of right action. None of the support that came to me would have made its way to me had I not been engaged in right action.

"Right Action" for me is action that is divinely inspired. I use my intuition and connection to spirit in order to assist me in making the right decisions about what actions to take. If it doesn't feel right I don't do it and if it feels right, even if all logic says, "No" I say "YES."

So I searched for the right businesses to interact with using my intuition and intuitive tools. I talked to loving and supportive people in my life. I ASKED for help (one of the more obvious forms of right action that people seem to avoid) and I stood in a place of deep gratitude whenever I received.

So in addition to the extra funds I received the following gifts: A friend flew out from Portland to Kansas City to drive back to Portland with me. She is also the same best friend who is letting me stay with her for three months while I get myself established in Portland. I saved on hotel costs by staying with her relatives along the way. We shared meal and hotel costs. Another friend who owns a metaphysical book store promised some side work which will help sustain me as I get going. And my former fiance even through in the gas money for the trip.

What a blessing!

So on a wing and a prayer, I am here in Portland, Oregon ready to launch my private practice as a Spiritual Counselor and Life Coach.

So . . . in my next entries I will be focusing on the actions that I will take in order to begin my marketing campaign. I can't get any clients unless people can find me and interact with me.

I will encounter challenges, progress, set backs, and miracles along the way and I will let you in on each of them.

Until then,

Namaste

Checking in with a January Summary

WELL . . . .

Life is never boring!

Hhhmmm let's see . . . what has taken place in January of 2007.

  • I launched DIYWebTech.Com and it is getting a 26.8% conversion rate. That means that more than 25% of the people who visit the site decide to sign up for the FREE SILVER Membership. This is awesome because the industry standard for conversion is 2% with 5% being a really good conversion rate. So I think I must have learned a few things about copy along the way.
  • I attracted a Joint Venture partner for DIYWebTech.Com. He is a really nice man from Australia and a self-made millionaire. He is launching a really big site on how to be successful online along with how to setup your online business like a real business that can be sold in the future. Very similar to the Michael Gerber philosophies (of EMyth fame). My JV partners launch has been delayed (I haven't decided if he's building anticipation strategically or if you just needs more time :-) the delays are a great tactic for building up demand) so as soon as his site is launched (I'm integrated into his site so it will be a great source of traffic for me) I will make an announcement here.
  • I attracted two new spiritual counseling clients! They appeared out of the woodwork which is always a sign to me that things are in divine order. And I haven't even begun to market my spiritual counseling services yet so this is very exciting.

The biggest change happened at the end of the month. My significant other put his foot down and asked me to draw a line in the sand about whether I was leaving or staying in the relationship. We have been engaged for years but the relationship has always been rocky. I decided to leave and I will be relocating halfway across the country to my home town of Portland, Oregon.

Although the ending of our relationship is really sad because we love eachother, it is also a blessing because they way we relate to one another was not healthy and we needed to change. In addition, he has been my financial support and closest companion over the last 3 1/2 years while I completed my schooling. Being pushed to move out is forcing me to step up my money making efforts into full gear because I need to support myself right away!

The good news is that I will have assistance from friends and family for the move so I will have a place to stay and some income coming in right away (although it will be a very small amount.)

This change has put out of the frying pan and directly into the FIRE!!!!

Leaving with very little and no secured source of income is nothing short of a huge leap of faith. But everytime I take action towards making this move happen, spirit comes in with an assist. I am being handed what I want very quickly and again . . . this is a sure sign that this move is in divine order.

So I thank my former fiance for kicking me in the butt and getting me out of my rut!

He has always been the definition of a true soul mate, one who through relationship forces you to be a better person in whatever means necessary!

Sooo Many Things To Do !!!!!!

So I had a todo list but I only have half of it done.

But that is OK. I'm not really sweatin' it. I have a lot on my plate but I feel so confident right now that things are not really bugging me. I'll be getting myself worked out here soon.

Anyway, I was thinking that I never really talked about the purpose of this blog. I want to use it to chronicle my journey through entrepreneurship this year. I have many, many, many plans and I need a place to remind myself of the actions that I take and how they pan out. This way I can regularly have a lessons learned summary.

So what are my plans?

Well, I need to create multiple streams of income. Here they are:

1) Internet Marketing - Niche products: although this stream will have multiple tributaries, it falls under the same process of marketing online. I will find niches, research profitability, find what they want, need, desire, and fear. Then I will provide whatever is missing from the void very quickly and easily, put together an array of products from leveraging ONE product that I create, and drive traffic (for free) to the sales page of the product I create.

2) I will document my progress in finding markets, creating products, & selling to niches so that I can teach others about it, if it is successful.

3)Spiritual Counseling - I am building a spiritual counseling practice and the objective is to get as many clients as possible. Well, not that many because I don't want to eat up all of my time exchanging hours for money. But I do fully intend to have a regular docket of 10-20 clients.

4) Personal and Spiritual Growth Programs - I will be creating multiple spiritual and personal growth programs that I will sell online and that are married to my spiritual counseling practice.

So there is the broad overview of my projects for 2007.

My first Internet marketing project for the year, http://www.diywebtech.com is progressing nicely. I have several people reviewing the site and they will be providing testimonials. I am also looking for joint venture partners to help promote the site. I will keep you posted on my progress on these ventures.

I need to revamp and monetize meditationformastery.com but it is not very high on my priority list right now. It will have to wait.

For now, adios and vaya con dios

WOW - How Things Change!

I was elated to see that I have two comments on my first entry!

Thanks guys!!!!

I know that I sound a bit naive and maybe even child-like but I don't care! I just feel excited and honored to be able to communicate with people so easily and for them to communicate back to me. Ain't technology grand!!!!

I know things are different because when I started my other blogs in the past, I had very little action. Things feel so different now. I can feel it in my gut that NOW is the time. I'm finally ready to really do this.

Anyway, I don't think that I mentioned my OTHER project. Although my main entrepreneurial project is building my coaching and energy therapy practice, I still have a passion for computers and all things techie. So . . .

I launched a new membership site called Do-It-Yourself Web Tech (http://www.diywebtech.com). It is my first major Internet marketing site. It is a large experiment but it is going quite well so far.

In my first 4 days into the Pre-Launch stage (DIYWebTech Blog) I attracted a Joint Venture Partner from Australia, several reviewers from the USA, Germany, UK, & Australia and I've begun to contact other website owners who have similar websites who may be interested in joint venture deals with me. I received a reply from one of the five I approached already.

This is good stuff!

My actions are paying off quickly and I couldn't be happier.

As for my coaching practice, clients seem to be popping out of the wood work! Within the last 4 weeks I have attracted a family and 3 other individual clients that want to do therapy work with me. All of these people came from casual conversations or recommendations made a long time ago. I haven't really done any advertising yet. So this is amazing.

When things like this happen, it lets me know that the universe is working with me and that I'm on the right path. I feel like I have a spiritual tail wind filling my sails right now and pushing me forward. Things feel very bright and I'm enjoying the hard work that is required to maintain this good progress.

Until next time . . .

Wendy

2007 Is My YEAR!!!!!

Hello,

My name is Wendy Williams. I am a black woman in my late thirties with longish hair who is often mistaken for Wendy Williams, the New York City Radio DJ/Goddess of Gossip (at least on the Internet.)

But I am NOT THAT Wendy Williams! (Please o Please, fans of the other Wendy Williams, STOP EMAILING ME!!!!!!)

Anyway, instead of having a TV show on VH1 and talking about hip hop celebrities all day, I spend my time completely immersed in business, Internet marketing, coaching, and spirituality. I LOVE personal and spiritual growth and I have just re-configured my life so that I can make a living doing what I love!

And I am celebrating . . .

Here is what I have accomplished to simply arrive at this starting point:

1987 - Graduated from high school
1988 - Joined a dance group that lead to commercials, concerts, a TV show, and local fame
1989 - Switched my career from retail sales to the computer field
1994 - Gave myself a $13,000.00 p/yr raise by getting a new job. Began project management
1996 - Took all of the Context Associated classes and coached success teams for two years
1996 - Suffered divine discontent and began to be allergic to my lucrative computer career
1997 - Quit my high paying job, began consulting part time, and explored alternative careers
1997 - Worked in television behind the scenes and as on-air talent, discovered new passion for healing and mental and spiritual growth issues
1997 - Studied alternative spirituality, discovered and honed intuitive and healing skills
1998 - Met my soul mate and discovered it is NOT a bed of roses when it's real
1999 - Moved to the deep south with my white soul mate for bigotry adventures
1999 - Acquired my highest paying computer job and began jet setting
2003 - Went back to school to complete a bachelors and masters degree in psychology
2006 - Finished my Master of Science Degree in Counseling Psychology

2007 - Launched my Coaching Career!

I can't believe how many twists and turns took place to get me to this point. If you ever enjoy one of my products, you will hear more details about my adventures. But the point of this summary is this:

LIFE IS NOT ABOUT ARRIVING AT A DESTINATION. IT IS ABOUT BECOMING THE PERSON YOU CHOOSE TO BE BY WORKING HARD TO GET THERE.

To all women entrepreneurs,

More power to ya' baby! Kick ass. Make waves. Sing out loud. Make yourself proud.

Wendy

(no, this is not me either but a clear representation of the joy I feel about where I am in life.)
